Street Child successfully concluded its 13th Annual Charity Marathon, held on May 4th, 2025, in the heart of Makeni, Sierra Leone. This highly anticipated event brought together an inspiring community of volunteers and runners from around the world, united by a shared mission to support the most vulnerable children in Sierra Leone.
As a cornerstone fundraising event for Street Child, this year’s marathon exceeded expectations. All proceeds were dedicated to improving educational opportunities and living conditions for children in need. Participants were reminded at every step that their efforts contributed directly to changing lives, bringing hope and opportunity to those who needed it most.
