few weeks back, we had the opportunity to hear the inspiring stories of the Twine Mechanic Girls(Hassanatu & Hussanatu)  the young women whose determination, creativity, and resilience are making a meaningful impact in their community.

Their story inspired many young girls in society, not only because of the skills they have developed, but also because of the problem they are addressing. Through their work, they are providing a valuable service while creating opportunities for themselves and, in the near future, potentially creating employment opportunities for others.

As we listened to their experiences and learned more about their journey, we became convinced that these young women represent  talents worth investing in. Their passion and willingness to learn demonstrated that, with the right support and opportunities, they can take their skills to an even higher level.

With this in mind, we took it upon ourselves to explore how we could support their growth. We were pleased to provide them with a form of sponsorship and capacity-building support designed to enhance the skills they already possess, strengthen their confidence, and equip them with additional knowledge and opportunities to grow.

For us, this initiative goes beyond sponsorship. It is part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our belief in investing in young people and helping them become the best versions of themselves.

We believe that when young people are given the right tools, mentorship, encouragement, and opportunities, they can transform not only their own lives but also the communities around them.

The journey Hassanatu and Hussanatu is a powerful reminder that talent can be found anywhere and sometimes, all it needs is someone willing to believe in it, nurture it, and provide the opportunity to thrive.
