The official commencement of the *Tour de LUNSAR* was nothing short of a spectacular fusion of sport, entertainment, love, and culture. The first stage kicked off in the heart of LUNSAR, featuring fifty determined cyclists. Local heroes and international contenders, each meticulously prepared and focused on victory.

The race course stretched from Lunsar through Makeni to FaDuGu, a formidable 145-mile journey marked by winding roads and challenging curves. A route that might seem impossible to conquer on two wheels was instead transformed into a thrilling spectacle of endurance and skill. Remarkably, the cyclists completed the journey in just two hours, showcasing their strength and speed.
The final sprint brought the crowd to life as the top three cyclists crossed the finish line, hailing from Lunsar, USA, and Congo. Local champion *Ibrahim S. Jalloh*, representing Lunsar, claimed the crown in a nail-biting finish. He secured first place and swept accolades for the sprint and mountain stages. Close behind, the Congolese competitor finished second, with the American cyclist clinching third.

Every cyclist who crossed the finish line was met with resounding applause from a vibrant, supportive community. The celebration was more than just a sporting victory, it was a cultural showcase. From traditional performances to flavorful northern cuisine, the event illuminated the rich cultural tapestry of the region, proving once again that the Tour de LUNSAR is more than a race, it’s a movement that unites people through sport, heritage, and shared pride.
