Street Child of Sierra Leone—SCoSL has successfully concluded its 13th annual charity event, the marathon, held in the heart of Makeni, Sierra Leone, on May 4, 2025. The event attracted a diverse array of volunteers and runners hailing from various corners of the globe.
This year’s endeavour served as a vital fundraising source for the NGO, with the proceeds directly supporting the provision of second chances in education and a better life for vulnerable children in the country.
The marathon was both exhilarating and deeply rewarding. Each stride offered hope to the children, as participants raced through the heart of the city to the finish line at Wusum Mini Stadium in Makeni.
